There are a few qualitative differences that influence how you use tech as a solo practitioner, as a practitioner with office support, or as a group practice. And we’re talking about one that doesn’t really hit our radars until we start adding people to our teams: Discoverability.

Discoverability is about the ability to be able to find the information that relates to a client’s care. This information needs to be available for the administrator to be able to find it and is a key difference between solo practices and group practice.

Adding just one person to your practice can drastically complicate how “discoverable” the details around emails, texts, or other information relating to your client. Tech is a big part of how to navigate discoverability as a solo practice or as a group practice.
