Our Progress Notes

Acuity Scheduling logo which is a clock symbol.

Acuity Scheduling is a web-based scheduling tool that offers a client portal, intake forms, payment, and reminders. However, all of this comes at a cost – if you want a healthcare plan that allows HIPAA compliance and a Business Associate Agreement, it will set you back more than a basic practice management system! That said, we hear that clinicians are using Acuity for its highly versatile scheduling options, like being able to vary start times for sessions hour-to-hour and adjusting pre- and post-session “buffer time.” This means you can grab a 20-minute lunch or go to an hour-long meeting without having to sacrifice too many of your own paying client spots.

This product offers a free service tier or a free trial account:

We encourage all clinicians interested in this product to try out the free trial or experiment with the free tier to see if it suits your needs.
