CE Credit Hours

How is this free?

Because we’re passionate about helping the helpers! We want to resource and equip mental health professionals to navigate these aspects of practice and consequential considerations that aren’t really addressed in grad school.

**By registering, you’re opting in to receive Person Centered Tech’s free newsletter, the PCT Post, and Gabrielle Juliano-Villani’s free Medicare Consulting for Therapists Newsletter.**

 Liath and Gabrielle will address:

  • The basic mandate and requirements of HIPAA Security Compliance
  • How HIPAA compliance requirements intersect with being a Medicare and/or Medicaid provider
  • Deciding if being a Medicare and/or Medicaid provider is right for your practice — benefits and risks (and how to manage risks!)
  • If you’re a Medicaid provider do you have to be a Medicare provider? If you’re a Medicare provider do you have to also be a Medicaid provider?
  • How to opt-out, if you determine being a Medicare provider is not right for you
  • The credentialing process — what it entails, how to do it right, what the timeframe is, etc.,
  • Once you are a Medicare and/or Medicaid provider, how to manage billing and documentation
  • Common fears and misconceptions about being a Medicare and/or Medicaid provider
  • What Policies & Procedures are required for HIPAA compliance and what *additional* Policies & Procedures are required as a Medicare and/or Medicaid provider

Tip: After your registration, you’ll be given access to a question submission form where you can submit your particular questions** ahead of the live session for inclusion in the session. **Note: we will address as many questions as possible, but cannot guarantee that all pre-submitted questions will be addressed.
