What Is This Product?
Appointfix is a tool available on iPhone and Android that send automated SMS text message reminders to clients. It integrates with your calendar and your contacts quite easily, and provides several handy features like displaying appointment information for contacts when you’re on the phone with them. They have paid plans and a free tier with more limited options.
Sadly, Appointfix does not offer a Business Associate Agreement, so it is not currently possible to use Appointfix in a HIPAA-compliant way. In our talks with them they were responsive and curious, and stated that healthcare really isn’t their target market and seeking HIPAA certification wasn’t currently in their plans.
