Vital Stats

HIPAA compliance with this product appears possible?: No.
Recommend for your HIPAA risk management needs?: No. We do not recommend you use Calendly for self-scheduling with clients.

What Is This Product?

The word "calendly" and then an iconized tear-off calendar with the letter C on it.

Calendly is a scheduling app that integrates your calendar with your e-mail in a way that allows you to send someone a link to pick an available time to meet with you. For example, instead of sending someone an e-mail saying “I could meet at 3pm on Tuesday or 4pm on Friday or some other time on Monday,” you could just send them a link to Calendly and let them pick a time that works for you based on availability you configure.

Sadly, Calendly does not offer a BAA and thus cannot be used in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
