How do I get my name changed on my certificate?
If your certificate was created with a wrongly entered name, reach out to us at [email protected] and we can remedy the situation.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Refunds are available for on-demand course purchases, within 14 days of the time of purchase, if the website user that the course was assigned to has not accessed any of the course’s materials. Courses are not transferable to other users.
Courses included in memberships, packages, or other products where the course is included as part of a product bundle are not eligible for individual refund.

How do I assign trainings to staff?
We cover it all in the Group Practice Care Orientation center, walking you through how to utilize the team management functionality of this service, step-by-step.

How do I change my email address or password?
To change your name, email address or password, please go to your Dashboard, and from the gray bar on the left hand side, please choose 'Account Details' to make your update. Make sure to click the green button at the bottom to save your changes.
Unable to log into my account
You can use your email address as your username to log in.
If you are unable to log into your account, please double-check to ensure that your email address is spelled correctly.

Can you give me information on practicing across state lines etc?
Thank you for signing up for on-demand courses! Our self-study, on-demand courses are designed to help you learn and retain the material so that you can use it in real-life situations. We utilize andragogical tools and techniques, including in-experience exercises that help you stay engaged.
Creating these exercises takes a few days. Our team strives to have completed the self-study course within 3-5 business days (and always as quickly as possible).
You will receive an email once it is ready, and once you get that, you can log in and access whenever you are ready. Thank you for your patience!
Can a life coach take these courses?
Absolutely! Though Life Coaching is not currently a regulated field, there is certainly a need for assistance with getting properly set up with technology. Please take a look at our Telemental Health Fundamentals course, which we feel is the best option.
How do I best approach a security breach/security incident?
Does The Telemental Health Certificate course allow me to qualify for the NBCC Board Certified Telemental Health Provider credential?
Person Centered Tech's program is a distinct certification. Our certificate program addresses the same standards as the BC-TMHP training, however it does not grant PCT certificate holders the ability to take the exam for the BC-TMHP credential -- that is something that can only be done through the CCE's pre-approved providers (and there currently are only 2.)
While Person Centered Tech is an NBCC approved CE provider, that is not the same thing as being an approved provider by the CCE for qualifying to take the BC-TMHP exam. Our certificate program does, though, count towards the renewal requirements for maintaining the credential, once obtained.
Can you help me with malpractice insurance for cross-border practice?
We are unable to advise on legalities for each individual state or country, and we advise due diligence in asking insurance companies about malpractice insurance coverage. We do not have specific recommendations for malpractice insurance carriers. However, we can say from our experience that carriers will not, in general, cover you for legal proceedings that occur outside the United States.
If you need advice on how to proceed legally from there, it is best to get advice from legal counsel. Person Centered Tech does not employ attorneys for advising our colleagues, so we are unable to provide legal counsel for you.
Is there a way for me to check my quiz answers and see what I got right?
For all courses, there are handouts, found on the left-hand side navigation menu, which we highly encourage you to use. All post-tests are open-handout, and we highly encourage you to utilize them!. You can take the post-test for each course as many times as needed in order to pass, with no penalty.
For the TMH certification and Engaging in HIPAA Security and Digital Confidentiality as a Mental Health Professional, all the quiz questions are contained in the module reviews. You can go back to the module reviews, which will show the correct answers, to discover what answers are incorrect in the post-test.
While we understand that this may feel frustrating, per our CE provider approval requirements from the approval bodies, we cannot show incorrect answers on the post-tests prior to the post-test being passed.
How are your product reviews structured?
Person Centered Tech reviews are based, primarily, around HIPAA-appropriateness rather than assessment of quality of features and functionality. We do our best to recommend products that we find support clinicians in both their security and functionality needs, but our main aim is to let folks know how to best use products in a HIPAA secure manner.
With the certification program, how many hours of it can be counted towards ethics training?
The Telemental Health Certification program has 11 designated legal-ethical hours. Our course catalog denotes how many hours of each course or program are designated as legal-ethical CE credit hours.
Why am I unable to submit my test?
If you’re only seeing "save answers" and not "submit for grading" at the end of a test, that means there are missing answers for 1 or more questions. You need to go back through the test and ensure that each question has been answered. You should then get the "submit for grading" option at the end of the test.
How can I cancel my membership?
To update or cancel your subscriptions, please go to your "Dashboard" page and then click "Subscriptions", in the grey sidebar on the left-hand side of the page. You will then be able to update or cancel, per your preference.
How do I obtain and download my CE certificate? Why don’t I see my certificate?
Once you have completed the course materials, you will need to make sure you click 'I am done with the course' on the last page. You will then have the ability to take the post-test and complete the evaluation. When the test is passed and the evaluation is completed, the link to download the CE certificate will appear. You will need to fill in or verify all of your information before downloading the CE.
Once generated, your CE certificate(s) will also appear on your 'My Certificates' page -- accessed through the link or from the tab on your Dashboard.
The Telemental Health Certificate Program certificate -- rather than the CE certificates obtained for each constituent course -- does not appear in 'My Certificates' page from your Dashboard. It is only available in the Certificate Program Learning Center.
*Please note: for LIVE workshops, CEs will only be able to be accessed and obtained through the email sent the day of the presentation and not available via the dashboard.
Can I access courses from my phone?
You can access the course from your smartphone through a web browser, however, the interactive elements in courses don't work well, or at all, on such a small screen. They're fine on tablets, though!
Are these courses self paced?
Person Centered Tech's on-demand courses are self-study and self-paced. Once you purchase a course or course package, you own it and will have access indefinitely -- so you can work through the course(s) at your own pace.
The majority of courses are broken into modules and units, which helps facilitate working your way through them incrementally at a pace that works for your needs.
Our system also remembers where you left off in a course so if you stop partway through, it will take you back to the module or unit you left off in! Just click the "resume" button next to the course title on your "My Courses" page and you can pick up where you left off.
I logged in and I cannot find my courses, where are they?
Your courses will show under the tab labeled “My Courses” on the Dashboard when logged into your user account. Once you click 'My Courses', you will be taken directly to your courses page. We also have a handy how-to video for you here: How to access courses

I would like to restart my course from the beginning, how do I do that?
If you would like to restart a course, you may do so at any time. Below where it says 'Get CE certificate', you can simply click the first part of the course, which will allow you to begin again. If you would like to see a specific part of the course, please follow the same procedure.
